Molly Kosar, LCSW

Molly offers telehealth specializing in evidenced-based treatments including: Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Compassion-Based Cognitive Training, and Motivational Interviewing. Molly works with adolescents, teens, and adults. She concentrates on treating chronic anxiety, chronic depression, history of trauma, addiction, and overcontrolled personality disorders such as OCPD, Avoidant PD, Dependent PD, along with social anxiety and OCD.

Molly has a Master Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work with a Certificate in Social Work with Latinx. Molly graduated Magna Cum Laude from North Carolina State University with a BA in Psychology and a BA in Spanish. Molly has experience working in a variety of settings including private practice, intensive outpatient, residential treatment, addictions treatment, wrap-around support for survivors of commercial sexual exploitation (CSEC), and school-based counseling. Molly has completed her foundational training in DBT through Behavioral Tech.

In her career journey, Molly has found a love for helping people discover and trust their unique inner strength. Clients often tell Molly that she balances compassion with asking the “tough” questions to propel them forward in life. Molly’s warmth, energy, and steadfastness will create a safe environment for you to confront any challenge. In her free time, Molly enjoys hiking, practicing yoga, painting, gardening, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
